Edited: Stopped by for dinner before driving back down to New Orleans. Crunchy crab stick salad is a must try...ask before you order to be sure they can make it. Sushi rolls and nigiri were on point. Service was great!
The service was phenomenal, the food was outstanding, and the drinks were STRONG! I couldn't finish my alcoholic drink, but it was tasty! We will definitely be back!!
Although Geisha is close to my house, my entire family loves this place for sushi! The who dat nachos are a must and the sumo roll is perfection! They do try to upsell the extra sauces every time, so beware lol... but the food is always perfect!
We frequently visit Geisha for sushi. The food and service are always good! Picky eaters love the miso soup and even ate some tofu, aka marshmallows. The Baked Salmon was delicious and the Aloha Roll was as delicious as it was pretty. The service was great. We received our food quickly. Update: I ordered the sushi lunch special today. It came with salad, miso soup or clear soup, pork dumpling (2), shrimp tempura (1), and 2 half sushi rolls. I got the spicy tuna roll and the dynamite roll. It was 11.00. Everything was delicious but the pork dumplings and the shrimp tempura didn’t appear to be freshly cooked. They were not very warm. The service was excellent. The waitress was very nice and helpful. Picky Eater Rating: 10 out of 10 on the Miso Soup and the Baked Salmon. Update 8/21/23: Pork dumpling and the shrimp tempura were cold but still tasty but I would prefer that they had been freshly cooked and warm. 9/29/23 The Shrimp Gyoza was good but I prefer the pork. The shrimp didn’t have the seafood “flavor” that I like when I eat a seafood dish. Dynamite Roll was excellent!
It has been a bit of a journey trying to find great sushi in Baton Rouge. I can say this is definitely one of the top spots. I ordered the bomb.com and it was excellent!
Came in on recommendation from a friend and placed a walk-in take out order and upon living experience it would be better to do it through grubhub or whichever online service provider that supports them. I know the rolls are gonna be good. (There is no option for them not to be.)
The Rock N’ Roll is my favorite roll - I order it every time I get takeout. The calamari is perfect when I dine in here and have someone to share it with. The place is clean and always cool (bring a light jacket perhaps). We enjoyed watching the Olympics on the large TVs while we comfortably dined on delicious sushi.
We came here for dinner while visiting friends in the area. Service was great and fast and food was delicious. The table ordered Marilyn Monroll and a Naruto roll and I tried the veggie roll which was fantastic. We enjoyed the soups, awesome house salad (love the pineapple in it) and a great hot sake. Everything was great! We didn't order any sushi or sashimi to try so we can't comment on that.
